Minister of State for Health, Prataprao Jadhav, told the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday that 11.69 crore hospital admissions have been authorised under the Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) as of February 28. The admissions amount to ₹1.73 lakh crore. AB-PMJAY provides health coverage of ₹5 lakh per family per year for hospitalisation to 12 crore families.
