Hampton Inn by Hilton in US' Lakeville cancelled the reservation of ICE agents after learning that they worked for Department of Homeland Security (DHS). DHS' X post showed the hotel's email stating, "We're not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property." An anti-India backlash was triggered after users pointed out an Indian company owned the hotel.
