Ahead of Independence Day, Delhi Police directed hotels, guest houses, restaurants, banquet halls, and petrol pumps in Aerocity to install enough CCTV cameras covering a 50-metre radius outside their premises. The order mandates storing CCTV footage for at least 90 days. It also instructed hotels to maintain proper entry records and ID copies of guests booking rooms for stay.
