Hotstar has reportedly received funding of ₹1,113.76 crore from its parent companies Star India and Star US Holdings by selling approximately 278 crore shares. Star India purchased shares worth ₹869.47 crore, while Star US Holdings purchased the remaining shares for ₹244.29 crore. This comes after Star India and Star US Holdings invested ₹1,066 crore in Hotstar in March this year.
