Hours before students beaten up in J'khand, minister said 'we won't use lathi-charge, pellet guns'

Just hours before Jharkhand Police lathi-charged student protesters marching towards Vidhan Sabha, Jharkhand Minister Deepika Pandey Singh said, "Administration is taking the necessary actions to maintain law and order. There will be no use of pellet guns or lathi-charge here." The minister was referring to CJP's Parliament protest march in Delhi where police lathi-charged protesters.
