How 350 women turn indigenous seeds into rakhis and livelihood
Across 14 villages in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, women farmers handcraft seed rakhis and patakas that grow into plants once used. Through Beejpatra, 350 women's work conserves indigenous seeds and builds year-round livelihoods beyond seasonal farming. They also make patakas for Diwali and other festivals using seeds.
