In 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP won 105 seats, undivided Shiv Sena won 56 seats, Congress won 44 seats and undivided NCP won 54 seats. India Today-Axis exit poll in 2019 predicted 166-194 seats for BJP-Shiv Sena and 72-90 for Congress-NCP. ABP News-C Voter predicted 204 seats for BJP-Shiv Sena and 69 for Congress-NCP. News18-IPSOS predicted BJP-Shiv Sena's 243 seats.
