Sachin Tendulkar's father Ramesh married the mother of Ajit, Savita and Nitin. After she died, he married his wife's sister Rajani. Sachin is their son. Ajit and Sachin's bond is very strong. Sachin didn't perform well before Ramakant Achrekar who told Ajit that Sachin should study and not play cricket. But Ajit convinced Achrekar to give Sachin another chance.
