A research paper by Antonia Juelich documented how terrorist groups such as Boko Haram use AI chatbots to design bombs, upgrade weapons and brainstorm ideas for attacks. A former Boko Haram commander said his group learned to jump motorcycles using AI to attack a military base. The paper noted that AI is being "consulted at every stage of military activity".
