Greenland is officially the world's largest island that is not a continent, covering more than 836,000 square miles. Greenland, which is currently facing invasion threats by US President Donald Trump, has around 56,000 inhabitants who mostly live in 20% of the autonomous Danish territory. Outside the towns, Greenland is mostly wilderness, with around 80% of its land under ice.
