SEBI's bifurcation of the amount of money mutual fund companies charge investors for helping invest their money may help lakhs of investors save more. According to Moneycontrol, even a tiny 20 bps expense ratio cut on a ₹10-lakh investment with 12% CAGR could help save ₹2.95 lakh extra in 20 years. In 15 years, the savings would be ₹1.34 lakh.
