Corporate Social Responsibility can play a role in empowering urban slum dwellers in India. CSR can make a difference by educating and skilling slum dwellers, by improving access to healthcare services, by collaborating with government agencies to develop affordable housing, improving access to basic amenities like water, electricity, and sanitation and funding slum rehabilitation projects.
