How can one get rid of phone addiction?

To curb smartphone addiction, therapist Nadia Addesi suggested adding some distance with the device like putting it in a drawer while eating, leaving it in another room while working or keeping it in pocket while walking. Addesi also suggested moving the most-used apps to last page, switching to grayscale mode and using a screen-time passcode someone else knows.
