WhatsApp now lets users lock chats by tapping the name of a one-to-one or group and selecting the 'Chat Lock' option. To reveal chats, users would need to slowly pull down the inbox and enter their phone password or biometric. Locking a chat takes that thread out of the inbox and puts it behind its own folder that's locked.
