Abhijit Chavda in episode 138 of PG Radio states that China has a TFR(Total fertility rate: average no. of children born to a woman over her lifetime) of 1.09 as compared to the average TFR needed to sustain population which is 2.1 which means that China's population is rapidly decreasing.
