A court in US' New Mexico ordered Meta to pay a $567 million fine and make major changes to its social media platforms. The judge ordered Meta to introduce stringent age verification in the state and restrict users under 18 to a 90-hour per month limit. Meta must also turn off push notifications overnight and during school hours for children.
