Sonam Raghuvanshi, accused of murdering her husband Raja Raghuvanshi during their honeymoon in Meghalaya in 2025, has been granted bail by a court after it found her arrest memo cited non-existent Section 403(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The actual murder section is 103(1). The court rejected police's "clerical error" defence, ruling she was not given effective grounds for arrest.
