Telugu actress Soundarya had boarded a single-engine Cessna 180 from Jakkur airstrip near Bengaluru on April 17, 2004. She was travelling with two others to campaign for BJP. Five minutes later, the Cessna burst into a ball of flames and crashed. Soundarya and her fellow passengers were charred to death. A complaint was recently filed alleging her death wasn't accidental.
