A couple, who'd earlier undergone multiple IVF cycles and surgeries to conceive, finally did with AI's help after 19 years. A new AI-powered STAR system analysed over 2.5 million images in two hours to locate two viable sperm cells in 3.5ml semen sample. The sperm cells were used for IVF, and an eight-week ultrasound confirmed a heartbeat of 172 beats/minute.
