SEBI alleged that Dhenu Buildcon used ₹25 crore to illegally inflate the company's market valuation from ₹3 crore to ₹4,925 crore. Dhenu routed the ₹25-crore funds through seven related entities to show that it received a ₹1,000-crore loan, which it later converted into equity for six entities. By faking the loan, it increased its share capital and the company's value.
