Iran's stock market reopened on May 19 after an 80-day closure amid war, and its performance was significantly better than when the market had reopened last year following a closure after Israeli attacks. In 2025, 99% of listed stocks fell within first 90 minutes after reopening, triggering a sell-off of around $407 million compared to 72% stocks falling this time.
