DGCA's new flight duty time limitation (FDTL) cap crew members' flight hours at eight hours/day, 35 hours/week, 125 hours/month and 1,000 hours/year. The rules also specify that crew members must receive downtime equal to twice their flight time, with minimum 10 hours of rest in any 24-hour window. IndiGo cancelled 200 flights on Wednesday as multiple planes had no crew.
