India’s defence exports have surged to record levels, with indigenous military technology gaining global recognition one year after Operation Sindoor. Defence exports touched a historic ₹38,424 crore in FY2025-26, marking a 62% rise from the previous financial year. During the operation against Pakistan, India deployed systems including the BrahMos missile system and Akash air defence.
