How did orangutans, not native to India, end up abandoned in Odisha forest?

Five young orangutans were found in a forest in Odisha's Balasore district. Balasore DFO Indalkar Pratik Prakash said the animals' young age and limited movement made it unlikely that they had reached the area on their own. Forest Department suspects human intervention may have been involved. "Smuggling is a possibility, but we cannot state that conclusively right now," Prakash stated.
