Kerala Police have solved a 19-year-old murder case with AI technology. In 2023, police used AI to enhance old photographs of two accused to estimate how they might look after 19 years. These images were compared against photos on social media. A wedding photo bearing 90% similarity to one of the suspects helped police locate the other suspect as well.
