After allegedly getting her husband Raja Raghuvanshi murdered on their honeymoon in Meghalaya by three hitmen on May 23, Sonam left for Guwahati and took a train to her hometown in MP. There her boyfriend Raj Kushwaha reportedly rented a room for her and they arranged a car to travel to UP. She was arrested in Ghazipur on June 8.
