Retired Army officer Subhash and Ranveer Bijarnia, two brothers from Rajasthan, cheated 70,000 people of ₹2,700 crore by forming Nexa Evergreen and falsely promising high returns and land plots in 'Dholera Smart City'. They paid ₹1,500-crore commission to thousands of agents, who they sourced from their 'employees'. They used the money to buy 1,300-bigha land, luxury cars, mines and hotels.
