How does a ₹1 lakh lumpsum investment compare to ₹1,000 SIP for 10 years?
As per Moneycontrol's SIP calculator, a lumpsum investment of ₹1 lakh at an expected rate of return of 10% will become ₹2.59 lakh after 10 years. In comparison, a SIP investment of ₹1,000 at the same rate and for the same time period will amount to ₹2.06 lakh. Moreover, the total amount invested during the SIP will be ₹1.2 lakh.
