short by Jayant Singh / on Thursday, 16 July, 2026
A hydrogen train carries a small power plant called a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell. The process releases water vapour and heat as by-products, and there is no combustion, no smoke, and no tailpipe carbon emissions.
