The WHO said that eight cases of Hantavirus outbreak on a luxury cruise ship, MV Hondius, have been confirmed. Hantaviruses are carried by rodents, and infected rodents can spread the disease in humans via urine, droppings or saliva. There is no cure for hantavirus diseases, but early medical care and management of respiratory, cardiac and kidney complications can help.
