The figures released by the government on Thursday showed India's GDP grew by 7.8% in the April-June quarter of the current fiscal (2023-2024), the highest in four quarters. In comparison, China clocked a GDP growth of 6.3%, Indonesia 5.17%, Russia 4.9%, Spain 1.8%, South Korea 0.9% and the UK 0.4%. Germany and the Netherlands slid into a technical recession.
