According to a research, listening to loud music can cause physical changes to auditory nerves, that leads to hearing loss. Loud sound causes the material coating the nerves to become thinner, impacting the nerve cells. This can cause a delay in the sound being transmitted to the brain, thus inducing hearing loss.
