Cardiac surgeon Dr Vaibhav Mishra has said that lowering a person's resting heart rate can do "wonders" for a person's heart health. "This reduces the risk of heart disease, hypertension, and stroke and provides a chance at longevity," he added. Recently, US millionaire entrepreneur Bryan Johnson urged people to lower their RHR, claiming his RHR was 44 the night before.
