How does science classify bananas, tomatoes and strawberries?

In botanical terms, bananas and tomatoes are true berries because they develop from a single flower with one ovary and contain seeds inside. Strawberries, despite their name, are not true berries. They are aggregate fruits, with the red fleshy part formed from swollen tissue, while the tiny specks on the surface are the actual fruits.
