India is concerned over China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a network of roads and railways connecting China and Pakistan, as it passes through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir over which India claims sovereignty. Moreover, its construction will give China access to the western part of the Indian Ocean. It is also feared that CPEC might lead to China's interference in the dispute over Kashmir.
