Tesla CEO Elon Musk has responded after the SEC alleged he violated a settlement reached with them last year by tweeting that Tesla will produce "around 500k" cars in 2019. Musk responded, "SEC forgot to read Tesla earnings transcript, which clearly states 350k to 500k. How embarrassing." The SEC had said Musk violated the deal by sharing information without pre-approval.
