The Indian stock market opened lower after 2019 Pulwama attack, with indices dropping over 1.8% from February 14 to March 1. Following the Uri attack and surgical strikes in 2016, Indian markets fell over 2% from September 18-29 while in two days following 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Sensex rose by 400 points. After 2001 Parliament attack, Sensex closed marginally lower.
