A study by the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow said that construction of Ram Temple triggered a measurable economic transformation in Ayodhya. It found annual footfall surged to over 11 crore in first six months of 2024 alone. The GST collection in Ayodhya region reached ₹400 crore in 2025. Further, restaurants in the region have jumped from 200 to 2,000.
