The Kookaburra balls have changed completely, starting with adding extra lacquer to improve the seam's stitching. The balls have many layers, and lacquer is the plastic layer added to make the ball harder for longer. This helps in swing and also protects the ball from getting soft. The changes in the ball since 2020 have given much-needed help to bowlers.
