The Indian Rupee recently slipped to a historic low of 95 against the US dollar. As a result, all foreign travel expenses, from flights and hotels to daily spending, have become costlier. Experts said foreign trips are now 15–20% more expensive. For example, $3,000 vacation that earlier cost ₹2.4–2.5 lakh now costs about ₹2.8–2.9 lakh, meaning travellers pay ₹40,000–₹70,000 extra.
