How long can retired employees earn interest on EPF?
EPF savings continue earning interest even after retirement, but the period depends on the age at which employment ends. If retirement occurs at 58, interest is credited for up to three years, until age 61. For those leaving work after 55, interest continues for a maximum of three years. After that, the account becomes inoperative, though the corpus remains claimable.
