Under the current system, domestic LPG users are entitled to 12 subsidised cylinders of 14.2 kg in a financial year. For households using smaller cylinders, 34 cylinders of 5 kg each per financial year at subsidised rates are allowed. Beyond the subsidized entitlement, the consumers can avail LPG cylinders at domestic non-subsidised rates.
