All Members of Parliament (MPs) get a fixed salary of ₹50,000 per month, along with a daily allowance of ₹2,000 if he/she signs the Parliament register every day. They are further entitled to a travelling allowance which covers train, road, and air fares, a rent-free flat or hostel, and three phone connections with 50,000 free local calls per phone.
