MPs receive monthly salary of ₹1 lakh and get daily allowance of ₹2,000 to attend Parliament sessions. They also get constituency allowance of ₹70,000/month and office expense allowance of ₹60,000/month. MPs are also entitled to travelling allowance, which covers train, road and air fares. They are also entitled to rent-free housing facility for the duration of their term.
