How much exercise should be done for a healthy heart?

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, for a healthy heart, people should do aerobic exercise at least 30 minutes a day, at least five days a week. Resistance training should be done at least two nonconsecutive days per week, the institution said. It added that flexibility workouts, such as stretching should be done every day (before and after other exercise).
