How much fuel does an F1 car consume during a race?

An F1 car consumes up to 45 litres of fuel per 100 km. Since each race is approximately 305 km long, an F1 car uses over 135 litres of fuel per race. In the early 2000s, 10-cylinder single-seater engines consumed up to 80 litres per 100 km. F1 cars currently use E10 fuel (10% renewable ethanol).
