Ginger is a healthy spice with anti-inflammatory and digestive benefits. Safe up to 4g daily for adults, but pregnant women, those with gallstones, or GERD should limit intake. Excessive consumption can cause heartburn, low blood pressure, or bleeding. It’s best when consumed fresh, in tea, or as supplements, with moderation for children under 12.
