Passengers are allowed to carry up to 35 kilograms of luggage free of cost in trains' second-class compartment and up to 40 kilograms in sleeper class, AC three-tier and AC chair car coaches. Passengers can carry up to 50 kilograms of luggage in AC second tier and up to 70 kilograms in AC first tier without paying any extra charge.
