How much price cuts are luxury cars expected to see under GST rate reforms?
The prices of luxury cars are expected to fall as the Centre has set 40% GST rate with no compensation cess. Mercedes-Benz is expected to see a price cut as high as ₹11 lakh, while BMW and Audi's price cut is expected to hit ₹8.9 lakh and ₹7.8 lakh respectively. Jeep may see up to ₹4.84-lakh price cut.
