India's second-richest person, Gautam Adani, received a total remuneration of ₹10.41 crore in FY2025, 12% more than the ₹9.26 crore remuneration he received a year ago. He drew salaries from two out of the nine listed companies - Adani Enterprises and Adani Ports. Meanwhile, India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, has been foregoing his entire salary since COVID-19 broke out.
